Aloe Vera Layer — Gentle on Baby Skin

Tiny Tods Skin Care

Aloe Vera Layer & Rash-Free Design

A baby's skin is thinner, more sensitive, and more permeable than adult skin. Everything that touches it — fabric, moisture, friction — matters more than most parents realise.

🌿 Aloe Vera Extract Soothing + Anti-Irritation Calms skin on contact, reduces redness from friction, and creates a gentle protective barrier against prolonged moisture exposure.
🧴 Ultra-Soft Nonwoven Zero-Friction Surface Cotton-like top layer minimises mechanical friction as baby moves — the most common cause of diaper rash beyond moisture.
💧 Moisture-Lock Core Keeps Skin Dry Pulls moisture away from skin and traps it in the core — so skin never sits in a wet environment long enough for irritation to develop.
🌬️ Breathable Back Sheet Heat + Sweat Control Air-permeable outer layer lets heat escape — prevents the warm, humid microclimate inside the diaper that accelerates rash formation.
🔴
Prolonged Moisture Contact When wet skin stays wet, the outer layer softens and becomes vulnerable to friction and bacterial irritation. Our fix: SAP core draws moisture away from skin instantly and locks it in — skin stays dry even hours after wetting.
🔴
Friction from Movement Crawling and kicking causes the diaper to rub against inner thighs. Rough materials cause micro-abrasions. Our fix: Ultra-soft nonwoven surface + aloe layer reduces friction damage on every movement.
🔴
Heat Buildup In India's climate, trapped heat inside the diaper creates the perfect conditions for rash. Our fix: Breathable outer panels allow air exchange, reducing the internal temperature that bacteria thrive in.

Baby skin is 30% thinner than adult skin — it absorbs and reacts to irritants faster.

Diaper rash affects up to 35% of babies at any time — most cases are preventable with the right diaper design.

Indian humidity accelerates rash — breathable fabrics matter significantly more in our climate than in Western markets.

Aloe vera has been clinically shown to reduce skin inflammation — we use it in the contact layer, not just as a marketing claim.

"Rash-free isn't just a feature — it's a design philosophy. Every material choice in Tiny Tods was evaluated for its impact on baby skin first."

Is the aloe vera safe for newborn skin?

Yes. We use aloe vera extract — not raw latex — which is gentle and suitable for even the most delicate newborn skin. If your baby has a known allergy, always do a patch test first.

How often should I change the diaper to prevent rash?

Ideally every 3–4 hours during the day. At night, Tiny Tods' 12h core handles extended wear — but change promptly in the morning. Always change immediately after a bowel movement regardless of timing.

My baby already has mild rash. Will these help?

Tiny Tods can help prevent further irritation during healing — the dry surface and aloe layer reduce two of the main aggravating factors. For active rash, consult your paediatrician for appropriate barrier cream.
